Chasing Spring Earrings

A few months ago, I finally had a design for a pair of earrings to match Chasing Spring for my friend. This was good timing, because in was accordance with her birthday. When it was complete, I came across a problem with how it hung and couldn’t solve it right away. After a few days of experimentation, I was able to correct it. My friend was so happy when she held them up to observe.

  • "Chasing Spring" is the name of this bracelet. It has a mix of 5 colors of Swarovski beads - aqua, orange, peach, jonquil, and fuchsia. Chasing Spring has 5 strands of colored and silver beads. They are connected to heart components at the ends. On the end of the one-inch extender dangles one of each color of the beads.

  • Dangle earrings in the style of Chasing Spring. Features 5 colors of Swarovski crystals in Chasing Spring, as well as the silver beads. There is also a thin bar with five holes where each line dangles from. The lines are of varying lengths. Putting both earrings beside each other creates a chevron.

I made them with the remaining Swarovski beads. When I gave it to her, I said that it took a lot of time, so she is the only one who has it. My preference is for her to wear them so they form a chevron, because when she looks at herself in the mirror, the differing lengths of each strand will be visible.
