Silent PayBack is a detective mystery set in modern-day Brighton, England. Detective David Mallory tries to solve a serial-killer-like case as he deals with his personal and work-related struggles. At times, Mallory’s struggles overlapped and I think this makes this book relevant today.

Silent PayBack is written by Jaye Marie, a writer with four books under her belt. Marie spends a fair amount of the book for character development and balances the remainder with the killings and solving the case. Characters with troubled pasts also make this book interesting and relevant, as Marie shows her readers.

Be sure to check out Silent PayBack to see if Detective Mallory solves the case.
