Hello everyone! This week’s flash fiction challenge comes from Charli Mills at Carrot Ranch. This week’s prompt is:
In 99 words (no more, no less) write a story about the work of many hands. Is it a cooperative effort or something else? Go where the prompt leads!

I made a piece of jewelry that can be worn as a bracelet, anklet, and necklace (BAN). It also serves as a fidget toy for adults and kids. I’m still testing this to see how much abuse it can withstand.
My friend and her husband were impressed, but when told them it was $45, they thought it was too expensive. You tell me: magnetic hematite, Swarovski crystals, and aqua beads, 207 beads altogether.
I thought about all the hands that a piece of jewelry would go through before reaching the consumer – materials manufacturer, components retailer, jewelry maker, retailer, consumer – five hands.
Thanks for reading. A more in-depth post on this design will be published in the future with additional images.
Such an interesting thought — all the hands a piece of jewelry goes through before settling into the hands of the wearer. Beautiful pieces, too, Leanne!

Lovely. I am never good at pricing. I made beads out of polymer clay.
Earrings, bracelets, necklaces…
I even sold some… but alas folks I think prefer to look at designs to create there own.
And yet the really beautiful pieces are in face priceless. 🙂
Good luck.

I’ve seen beautiful beads made of clay. Pieces (not just beads, but vases, cups, and others) that have gold luster are so beautiful. A friend of mine introduced me to it.
Thank you so much; I need it and want jewelry to work out for me.
Good luck to you, too, Jules 🙂
